OFFER DESCRIPTION
We are currently recruiting a short-term (9 months) project engineer with a background in electrical engineering (power electronics, real time simulation technology, electric vehicles, renewable energy sources, fuel cells) in our research group for an ongoing European project. The candidate should hold at least a master degree or equivalent in one of the above-mentioned fields.
The work is about to develop real time code and software interface for virtual testing of electrified vehicles. More specifically, the recruited engineer / postdoc will work on the real time simulation model development of energy sources (fuel cell, batteries), power conversion stage (DC/AC, DC/DC power converters) and electric drives using Simcenter AMESim software. In addition, dedicated testing interfaces need also to be developed between the hardware to test and the real-time simulation of other models in the context of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL). The candidate need to have a good understanding for electric vehicles, power electronics and energy sources, familiar with Matlab/Simulink and AMESim tool, and know how to program in programming language (C code, LabView, Simulink, etc.).

Salary: The proposed salary will be 1545 € net per month, can be slightly adjusted based on candidate’s experience and skill level.
Contract duration: 9 months
Starting job: The contract should be started no later than March 2021.
